Hello and welcome to InUnity CCR Discussion
Forum. This forum embraces the charismatic spirituality to which we believe Christians are called. We are loyal
to the teachings of the Catholic Church while welcoming those of other denominations - and indeed faiths - who
wish to gather to glorify the Lord and exchange ideas, experiences and points of view. We do ask that all discussions
be carried out in an atmosphere of respect and courtesy.
PURPOSE
1) Learn more about knowing, loving and serving God, through Jesus Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
2) Share faith experiences and thoughts with fellow Catholics and Christians.
3) Build each other up in the understanding and practice of our faith, and supporting each other in prayer.
4) Build fellowship through exchange of views on world news, general topics and humour.
5) Prompt reflection on some of the issues facing Christians today.
SUGGESTIONS
In order to help
us do all these things in the right spirit and to avoid some of the pitfalls found on so many places on the Internet,
we suggest that each participant clearly follows a few basic principles:
a) try and express our thoughts carefully and clearly (too much rambling can often cause confusion)
b) be sure we read what the other person is actually saying and not what we think they may be saying.
c) be gracious in the way we disagree with each other.
d) be prepared to take things back when we see we are wrong or are causing offence.
e) be prepared to accept other people's apologies and not hold grudges.
